For the first time, the four tourism alliances covering the whole of the UK have collaborated on a joint survey that will capture a UK-wide picture of the economic and policy environment that tourism and hospitality businesses are operating in.

In partnership with leading research company 56 Degree InsightThe Scottish Tourism Alliance (STA)The Tourism Alliance (England)The Northern Ireland Tourism Alliance (NITA), and The Wales Tourism Alliance (WTA) are seeking feedback on the current business environment that the tourism and hospitality sector is operating in and looking to gauge opinion on whether government is doing enough to support the industry.

By answering this short survey, we aim to create a strong voice that amplifies what we need from our respective governments to better support and grow our industry and visitor offer, along with communicating the reality on the ground concerning the challenges and threats our sector is facing

  • The survey is aimed at businesses across all parts of the tourism and hospitality ecosystem
  • There are three sections: About you; Business performance and Government sentiment. In addition, there are also some short Nation-specific questions at the end of the survey to answer
  • To capture the unique challenges our individual geographic areas, survey respondents will be directed to a set of dedicated questions for their respective nation
  • The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete
  • We encourage you to complete the whole survey to give as full a picture as possible
  • The survey is completely anonymous and all of your responses will be treated in confidence

The survey closes at midnight on Friday 1st November.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey and for helping to strengthen the voice of the UK’s tourism and hospitality sector and our asks of government
